Looking aft at the port side of the main salon. Roberta wanted a traditional look to the boat, so we will have "loose furniture", meaning a real sofa, dining table and chairs, etc.

An end-table for the couch. The quality of the woodwork is amazing. It's hard to see most of it though. In order to protect the wood, everything is sealed under cardboard and paper until the boat gets to Dana Point for commissioning.

Another example of the attention being paid to the woodwork.

The cockpit of the boat now has the sink installed on the starbord side, and the propane barbecue on the port side. The barbecue will be the only propane on the boat, and it is outside. The small recess on the stern is for the hookah system (for diving off the back deck of the boat). Beneath it is the opening where the hidden passarelle will come out.

On the stern you can see the connections for the dual 50 amp shore power cords

They just finished installing the Atlas system in the lazarette. This will provide 60 cycle 220 volt perfectly clean power, from just about any shore power in the world.

Here, you can see the hand rails have been installed around the engine. Those are critical when things are rocking and rolling. I spent this last weekend crawling through the engine room on a 48' sport fisher we have. This engine room is immense by comparison. It is a "stand up" engine room, and represents a major upgrade from the 62. It looks more cluttered here than it actually is. It's tough to imagine, but this boat could be in the water within about three weeks. A boater friend last night was encouraging me to go to Taiwan for the launch, but I'm going to pass on that. It would be awesome, but that's a long way to go. We'll see the boat plenty when it gets to Dana Point.
